Farouk CHI Flat Iron (1 inch)

I've had my Chi for over 3 years, I've dropped it numerous times and the covering is cracked but it still works great!! I have super course, thick, curly hair and I can get it stick straight in no time.

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter. She absolutely loves it! She has thick hair and was using a lesser-quality hair iron. She was always frustrated standing in front of the mirror for several minutes trying to get her old iron to straighten her hair. No that she has CHI, she looks great and is off and running out the door in no time. Thank you.

I just bought my Chi and I love it. Not only does it get my hair straighter than my previous store bought one, but it takes less time to do so. It was worth the money and it works great.

I was using a cheap wal-mart brand to straighten my hair, but than I started using the chi.. I love it. Also my hair is wavy so it does an excellent job.

I bought this flat iron for the first time four years ago. It's traveled from D.C. to Korea to Italy and back to Korea with me. I've dropped it, packed it, twisted the cords, and have had it plugged into more adapters and converters than I can even count. I have had my chi for two years and I love it so much. I have tried all my freinds other brand ones and mine is far superior. I will only use chi and chi products!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I have SUPER curly hair and it is amazing!

This is one of two straightners that I've used in my life and the other one was European and more expensive. They do the exact same thing! It is so quick to heat up and straighten my coarse, thick hair.

I ordered my first CHI about 4 years ago and was totally satisfied. I have very curly hair that the CHI controls whether I blow dry it or not. I've never had a problem with damaging or burning my hair, for which some of the cheaper flat irons are responsible.

I have had my Chi iron for about a year now, when i first bought it i paid about $130. I was like WOW, i am not spending that money on a straightner, but once i saw the results from my hair i was completly amazed.

I'm a teen aged girl who is completly obsessed with her hair,which is a very crimped and frizzy,I had been using a $40 dollar hair straightener for over a year(and had been straightening my hair every day),and my hair would always look perfect for about 10 min.One day I had a friend over who had a chi,which she brought with her,and it was incredible!It straightened my hair perfectly in about 20min(I have really long hair too..) and it lasted until I took a bath about 8 hours later!Its incredible I would recomend it to any one.

i got this iron for christmas a year or so ago. I loved it! it's so much better than any other iron i've ever tried. it gets your hair wicked straight without the frizz and damage other irons leave you with.

I have really long, curly hair, and I KNOW about straighteners. This one is my favorite ever, and it is amazing. It doesn't fry your hair, it gets hot fast, and it gives you real shine :) just a tip: it's better to run it over your hair once slowly, not lots of times fast. Fast and lots of times magnetizes your hair (and it gets just as hot) and gives it more static. Love the chi.

The CHI flat iron is great I've used it atleast 4-5 times on my head now. It heats up fast, it leaves your hair shiny and it's pretty easy to use. I also like how you can curl, flip and style your hair with it not just straighten it.

I got the CHI ceramic flat iron about a year ago. I had used other cheaper straighteners before I got the CHI, but none of them even compared.

this chi is the BEST straitner inb the world!!!!!!!! i have had it 4 over 7 years and i havent even had a problem with it! the chi will never get old!!!!!! it is worth the price it is.

I've had this iron for about 3 years now. My hair is on the thicker side, in healthy condition, and long. My hair is wavy, and can hold a curl or be straightened without much coaxing, so I'm lucky in that respect. I have to say I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews this product is getting. I think it's amazing and I fell in love when I first got it, for about twice as much from a retail store!

This product heats up quite quickly. I turn it on while doing my make-up in the morning and it's more than ready by the time I do my hair. It only takes me about 10 minutes to do all of my hair, and it's midway down my back. It leaves it shiny, smooth and very straight.

I have had my CHI for over two years now, and I have done everything wrong with it... I've wrapped the cord around it, left it on, used it everyday, dropped it, etc... It's been there with me through thick and thin and still continues to work! It leaves my hair beautiful! I love it!!

This iron makes your hair silky and very smooth. i love this iron soooo much.spend a little more money because it is deffinately worth it!

I purchased this CHI iron for my daughter,I had heard her talk about it and she wanted one very badly. I did initially balk at the price but having seen it used and using it myself,it was well worth it.

I just got the CHI and i had been using a fairly good straightener before and this does so much better on my totally curly almost afro hair.

I have been straightening my hair for about nine years, so needless to say I've had plenty of experience with flat irons. I've been through a bunch of them, the last being a very disappointing model from TIGI which lasted only a couple months. I decided to buy the Chi because I've heard such great things about it from my hair stylist, and so far it's working wonderfully. It heats up in seconds and I can get my hair from wavy and fluffy to straight and smooth very quickly. This is saying a lot, too -- I have very thick hair that tends to do whatever it pleases! Also, the price was very good... the only reason I never bought one before was because I could only find them sold for $100+.

the chi original is the best out there.it leaves hair soft and silky. i live in texas and the humidity is horribleeeee.
but with the chi i dont have one frizzy hair day. the chi is amazing. if you've thought about buying one but are to hesitant...go BUY IT. and the price of them are cheap right now so do it while it's cheap.i absolutely LOVE it.

I love this straightener (and so does my daughter)! I have wavy hair that turns into frizz by the end of the day. This straightener keeps my hair straight all day long...hopefully it will hold up to the midwest humidity this summer. I have faith.

I am in love with my Chi - it warms up really quickly and does a great job on my fairly thick, long hair!!! Also, I was impressed by how quickly I received the item after ordering it.

this is the way to go. a lot of people complain about how expensive it is, but don't listen. this is worth well the money, i swear. i've been through 2 flat irons. one cheapo from wal-mart (LOL) and one from sally's beauty. they both were okay, but i didn't like them. it took me 40 minutes to an hour to get my hair looking okay, and with the chi, it takes me, 14 minutes to be excact (my hair's wavy, and really frizzy.) i strongly reccommend this product, the media is right about the chi's, they fall in the top 4 or best straighteners!

My chi flatirons were delivered quickly! They really work! I usually wear sew-in weave and the chi flatirons made my hair blend in with the weave. It works on my natural hair also. It is great for any race and I would advise anyone to get them. It is worth every penny....at first I was a skeptic because of the price but trust me your mind will change when the texture of your hair changes. Be sure to keep them clean and they will last a long time. Do NOT drop them! I give this 5 stars!
