GHD Styler Iron (2007 mk4) BLACK

After having read all the horror stories about flat irons not working overseas, I decided to invest in the GHD Mark IV with Universal Voltage. Let's just say all my female colleagues wanted to borrow my flat iron. It worked like a charm, and is an amazing hair tool. I have used the CHI, Metropolis, Coriolis, and without a doubt, you can feel the quality of the GHD. My hair is fine, but I have a lot. The results are shiny, straight and healthy looking hair. What more could you want? This is an absolutely amazing flat iron.

I love my GHD styler!!! i have super frizzy hair and have a hard time keeping a hair style. My ghd has made my life a lot easier. My hair is soft and silky after i use it.

My hair is thin and wavy so I need something that will never damage my hair and GHD just does it, I love it I love it , it heats up in seconds, it gives a nice natural shine, I can curl the ends to the inside and it will look natural, My hair looks healthy and straight , I even sometimes use it on wet hair and it works just fine, I know its not advisable and its wrong to use it on the wet hair, but seriously I never had a problem with GHD never burned my hair its a must have!!!

I really do love this iron. My first high-end iron was the CHI (color me unimpressed). Then I bought the SEDU really liked it, but found that I did still get frizz in the back of my head. The GHD IV is pretty awesome and fast, and makes my hair feel silky. Sometimes, I straighten my hair and then go back over a couple sections, which is annoying, but seems to work. I like the GHD because, by the end of the day, my hair is actually straighter and silkier, instead of frizzier. Whether or not that's worth $250 is your call. My hair is somewhere between fine and coarse, and usually more wavy than curly. I straighten my hair every day.

Ive tried all of the straighteners out there and this one is definitely the best! It even curls hair because of the rounded barrel. Useful if your traveling and dont want to bring your curling iron and flat iron.

I bought this straightner before going on vacation to the Maldives (humidity!) All I needed was the adapter plug and it worked great with the multi voltage. I live in Japan, am from New Zealand and travel to parts of the world with weird voltage, so this iron is great!

I want to start this review thanking to my friends from BN4L, they are the ones that recommended this wonderful flat iron.
I have wavy thick hair which I love, however I also love the look of my hair when is straight, I started using a HAI flat iron which worked well until the ceramic started peeling off, then I started looking for a better iron and you all know if so frustrating to decide what to get with so many good choices out there, but I finally went for GHD MK4, OMG!! this is the most $$$ I ever paid for hair tool, but boy!! it is worth it.
This package comes with a very helpful DVD with instructions how to create curls, waves, straight mane..etc, I practiced all the styles and successfully accomplish every single one in few minutes each, however my favorite is the straight look, my hair ended up smooth, silky, shiny, straight but not flat..very important fact to take in consideration, straight hair does not mean flat hair.
I was a little worry about the iron not having heat control, but after I used it for first time it feels like the iron adjust itself depending on your type of hair, Wow!! how great is that.

I have been straightening my hair for 15 years and have tried a lot of irons. This is the best. When I lived in he UK my stylist used this straightener, but that still didn't convince me to spend the money. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. This item is definitely one worth paying for. I have ridiculously difficult curly mixed nationality hair that tends to be dry and frizzy. I got my GHD over the weekend and used it this am and have already gotten complements. If you can afford it buy it now, if you can't save for it and save yourself the headache.

The GHD MK4 is simply awesome!! I have slightly curly wavy easily frizzy hair. This irion make it perfectly straight shiny and full of body and movement with ease. I have been using it every 2 to 3 days for the past couple of months and feel the condition of my hair has actually improved.

This is the first big investment I made after my first few paychecks ever.. Totally do not regret it.. It straightens with so much ease and you dont have to go over the same area twice.. I watched the CD but have not tried styling my hair the way they do on it

I'm a natural born hair/beauty product junkie. Some would call it an obsessive search for the ultimate product. As to date, this styler is the ultimate hair tool I've come across. Pricey? Of course. But you are paying for the quality. I would say this iron is twice as good as my previous Chi. It is definitely the ultimate hair tool investment.

I have lived in England for the past 4 years and GHDs are everywhere!!!!! No one uses anything but these amazing, versatile irons. AMAZING!!! Worth £120/$240!!!!!

wow, I am so impressed. My daughter is biracial with very kinky hair and most flat irons do nothing for her. This is majical! it's so easy - we love the curved barrel, she has bangs that are so easy to take care of. it heats in a second and it is so easy to work with. She looks beautiful. we also loved the DVD that came with it - now she's trying the summer waves. really fun and super worth the money.

I adore my GHD styler. I am a stylist and I use this on nearly every client for finish work. It glides through the hair, straightening, flipping, waving, and curling effortlessly (no need for flat-iron "death grip") . And I swear this thing heats up in less than 30 seconds. It also adds incredible manageablitiy and shine to the hair, enhancing color & highlights, and just making the hair look overall healthier.
